Conversations with Clement, #87

Clement: "Daddy, if you were stuck on a roof, how would you get down?"

Me: "I would call for help."

Clement: "But nobody would hear you."

Me: "Well, then I would be stuck."

Clement: "But you could fly down."

Me: "I'm not a bird. I don't have wings."

Clement: "Then make some."

Me: "With what?"

Clement: "Paper."

Me: "But I wouldn't have any paper up on the roof."

Clement: "Then you should bring some up with you."

  1. Logical to the end. I am now inspired to carry paper with me everywhere - you never know when you will need to be able to fly.

  2. Cute! I look forward to the coming days when Peter starts talking! :-)
